We will never sell your email address. Your email is used only to deliver your guides and reply to your support questions. That's it.
1. Who We Are
Video Handbook (video-handbook.com) is a privately owned and operated business. You can reach us at support@video-handbook.com.
2. What Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Email address— collected when you submit a guide request or make a purchase. Used only to deliver your guide and respond to your support questions. We will never sell your email address or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
- YouTube URLs— the video URLs you submit for processing. These are used solely to generate your guide and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information collected automatically
- Cloudflare Turnstile signals— browser and device signals used to distinguish humans from bots. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
- Basic usage data— we collect page views, referral sources, device type, and approximate geographic location via our analytics tools (see Section 7).
Payment information
- Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details.

4. Third-Party Services That Process Your Data
When you use Video Handbook, the following services may process data on our behalf:

5. Data Retention
- Email address and order records— retained for accounting and re-delivery purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
- YouTube URLs— stored as part of your order record. Not retained beyond what's needed for delivery and support.
- Guide files— download links expire after 72 hours. Stored files may be retained for re-delivery purposes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Delete your data (right to erasure). We will delete your email and order records upon request, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g., financial records).
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Object to certain processing.

7. Analytics
We use the following analytics tools to understand how visitors use the service and to measure the performance of our advertising:
- Plausible Analytics— a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. Plausible records aggregate page views, referral sources, country (derived from IP, then discarded), and basic device type. It does not set cookies, does not build individual user profiles, and does not collect personal information.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)— used to measure conversions and the performance of our advertising campaigns. GA4 collects events such as page views, button clicks, and form submissions. It uses cookies and may collect a user-level identifier, browser and device type, and approximate geographic location (city or region level). When you complete a purchase, our server also sends a conversion event to GA4 with the order amount and basic campaign attribution data.
You can opt out of GA4 tracking by:
- Using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Enabling “Do Not Track” or similar privacy controls in your browser
- Blocking third-party cookies in your browser
Both services are subject to their own privacy policies. You can review them at plausible.io/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Cookies
We use a minimal number of cookies:
- Cloudflare Turnstile— sets a cookie as part of its bot-detection process. This is a functional cookie required for the service to work.
- Stripe— may set cookies during the checkout flow. Stripe's cookie policy applies.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell cookie data to advertisers.
9. Children's Privacy
Video Handbook is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
